Abstract |
Recently, LED matrix headlights have been able to help with safe driving by allowing the brightness to be finely adjusted in addition to general projection. However, with fine adjustment of brightness or even color, a large amount of communication is needed to control headlight, which could burden the vehicle communication system and require a dedicated high-speed communication line. In this paper, we propose an LED matrix headlight system that can be managed with a few commands by implementing bilinear interpolation shift and masking operations. The LED matrix data are updated within a minimum error bound with respect to the new input data, which significantly reduces the amount of data transferred, and the headlight still functions effectively. |
