Abstract This study is to classify the types of the integrated study modules in architecture program, in order to reduce the gap between academy and practice and to advance student's ability in application and integration between architectural design and architectural knowledge. Integrated study module is a unit of study composed with some subjects for enhancing the interrelation and integrity of design and knowledge. Cases of ENSAPLV, ENSAPM, USYD, UTS, Maryland and Yale show three types of study module representing the integration levels-high, medium and low. High level integrated study modules are composed with two or three design modules and supporting subject modules integrated with the same theme beginning from comprehensive understanding and basics gradually to inhabiting, techtonic, urbanism, complexity and sustainability. Medium level integrated study modules are composed with one design module and supporting subject module integrated with the same theme. Low level integrated study modules are divided by design studio and supporting subjects such as the differentiated curriculum, somewhat distinguishing from enhancing the learner's experience and practice. Finally integrated study modules are developed by analytic approach up to the priority of architect's way of thinking. So, it is requested to keep paces with architectural and technical design process of architects, designers and engineers.
