Abstract |
The purpose of this research is to obtain a practical expression for the estimation of compressive strength of concrete using non-destructive testing method such as rebound Schmidt hammer and ultrasonic pulse velocity and to discuss its applicability to the evalution of the compressive strength of existing concrete members. Experimental investigation were carried out to examine the effects of factors such as water-cement ratio, curing sonditions, age of concrete and shape of specimens. According to the test results, following equations are suggested. 1)Rebound hammer method sfc = 12.3 sRo - 94.66 2)Ultrasonic pulse velocity method sfc = 359.1 sVp - 1226.7 Afc = 369.4 AVp - l237.8 <air dried curing>
