Abstract |
Concrete curb-butters suffer significantly reduced durability because they are intensively exposed to frost damage and chloride attack in the winter. In this study, to select a suitable mix design in an environment of combined deterioration,a scaling resistance test is conducted with compressive strength and air content as variables It is found that moist curing is important in the initial curing to secure durability and that it is required to raise the standard value for air content to 5 % and compressive strength to 27 MPa as standards for the mix proportion of concrete curb-butters. In addition, it is necessary to consider proposing the standard value of the spacing factor, instead of the standard value of the air content, simply.
