Abstract |
Poly acrilic acid was employed to flocculate water soluble protein from fish processing effluent. The froth formed by microfine aeration contained most of the soluble protein. BOD of the waste water was decreased apparently after the treatment. From the experiment, the optimal conditions for the recovery of protein are as follows: pH of waste water: 5∼6 molecular weight of flocculant : 30,000∼70,000 concentration of flocculant : 200∼300 ppm temperature of waste water: 25∼300℃ |
