| Abstract |
This survey was conducted at 6 sites of the Andong reservoir through May 197 and March 1988 to estimate the water quality characteristics and the trophic state of the reservoir. The following conclusions was made from the results of this study. 1. The water quality of Andong reservoir is equivalent to 2nd grade in water quality criteria. 2. The current trophic state of Andong reservoir is mesotrophiceutrophic state. 3. The trophic state of Andong reservoir will be mesotrophic and oligotrophic state by the relationship between chlorophyll a and total phosphorous by Vollenweider`s criteria when 20% and 80% reduction of pollution loadings are accomplished. |
