| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to propose a method of practical use of church facilities for community welfare
programs. There are two major purpose, firstly examining validity using by biblical perspective and social welfare, and
secondly survey of preferred programs, spaces and the practical use models for community welfare. The result of this
study is following. First, it is agreed to social service by 98.5% and also to the use of church facilities by 88.7%. So
it is proved that social service of local church is a part of church’s mission and a immediate demand of society. Second,
the objective of welfare programs are the disabled and the old man. For these programs, it is examined that counseling,
rehabilitation and free clinic facilities are requested. Third, for community welfare, the use of the existing facilities of
churches is preferred to use of the social facilities or the other churches effectively rather than build new facilities. |
