Title The Comparison in Physique and Physical Fitness Between the Middle and High School Girls of Cities and Those of Towns

Abstract The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference between big cities and small cities on the girl students, for the suggestion of developing factors with respect to the suitable physique and physical fitness in juveniles stage. There were no differences in all the other years in the case of height between big cities and other ones except the exceeding of the second grade middle school students of big cities. In the case of body weight, the first and second
grade middle school students in big cities were meaningfully greater than the counterparts, the first grade high school students had no difference, and the second grade high school students of small towns were meaningfully greater than the counterpart. Therefore, in the case of BMI, the first and second grades of middle school and the first grade of high school in big cities were significantly superior, on the other hand, the second grade students of high school in small cities were superior. The middle school students of big cities were superior in a 50-meter running, sit-up, standing long jump, and a long distance running, and the middle school students of small cities were superior in push up, and there was no profound difference among the places of residences in sit and reach. In the items of high school students, there were no profound differences among the places of residences in a 50-meter running, standing long jump, and sit and reach, and the students of small cities were superior in a long distance running, and the students of big cities were superior. In the case of the total and the grade of physical fitness, the high school students were superior to the middle school students in all the areas, but there were no significant differences among the places of residences each school year.
