Abstract |
The daylight Illuminance levels in a small office space were calculated to determine the contribution ofdirect and reflected illuminance. Computer simulations using the Lumen Micro program were performed under threetypical sky conditions. The direct illuminance under cloudy sky conditions changed very gradually as the distance fromthe window increased. However, there were sudden changes under clear and partly cloudy sky conditions. As thedistance from the window became more greater than half of the room depth, the proportion of reflected daylight illu-minance level which was reflected in the room increased under a clear sky condition in June. Under cloudy sky con-ditions, the direct illuminance had a higher ratio of daylight illuminance for the overall area in the room. |
