Abstract |
The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effects of a difference exercise type on growth hormone,DHEA-S and physical fitness in elderly person. 30 older females were divided into aerobic dance group and abdomenbreathing group. Also, aerobic dance group and abdomen breathing group was trained for 12 weeks (4 days/week, 60min/day). All data were expressed as mean and standard deviation by using SPSS/PC+ program, and data were analyzedby Paired t-test. The concentrations of growth hormone and DHEA-S were significantly (p<.05) increased in aerobicdance group and abdomen breathing group after 12 weeks comparing to the 0 levels. Cardiopulmonary fitness weresignificantly (p<.05) increased in both aerobic dance group and abdomen breathing group, muscular endurance weresignificantly (p<.05) increased in aerobic dance group, flexibility were significantly (p<.05) increased in abdomenbreathing group, static balance and agility were not significantly increased in both aerobic dance group and abdomenbreathing group. |
