| Abstract |
The purposes of this study are to develop the workstation units for workspace and to propose their applicationmethod at the architectural design stage. The workstation unit is one of the components of a workspace integratedunit, which can be defined as the planning unit satisfying the environmental comfort criteria of workspace. Workstationis classified according to workstation layouts, desk size, occupancy area and partitions determined by literature andcase study. Then workstation unit is combined with the lighting unit. The lighting performance of each unit was eval-uated using the Radiance program. With these workstation units, designers would be able to easily predict how theirdecision influences the illuminance and uniformity of workstation. |
