Working condition and health status of farmers who work in vinyl plastic hothouses were measured by aquestionnaire which contains working conditions (7 items), symptoms related to injuries (9 items), and life styles relatedto exercise (2 items). The most number of farmers had been working between 9 months to 12 months per year, andthe most number of farmers’ daily working time had been above 7hours. These findings indicated that the great numberof farmers had been working too hard and too many hours. Farmers, however, did not show much interest to recoverfrom the heavy fatigues. From the burden, farmers are getting the most number of pain at the lower back and shoulderjoints among all body parts. Therefore, farmers who work in vinyl plastic hothouses need to take much more rest andneed to do suitable exercise to loosen shoulder joints and the back pain.
