Abstract |
Movable floor plan apartment have a lot of merits and the number of apartments and buildings with movablefloor is increasing. In order to achieve movable floor plan, light weight movable wall system with high thermal andsound insulation performance should be developed and applied. Sandwich panel system is light weight and easy toinstall but increment of thermal and sound insulation performance of sandwich panel is needed. In this study, inorganicthermal insulation material was applied as a core material of sandwich panel. Physical properties such as density,thermal conductivity and absorption coefficient of inorganic material, EPS, urethane and glass wool were tested. Also,a coefficient of overall heat transmission and sound reduction index of sandwich panels were tested. Inorganic materialwas lighter than other core material and has relatively higher absorption coefficient in mid and low frequency band.Thermal conductivity of inorganic material was lower than EPS, glass-wool. Sound reduction indices (Rw) of inorganicpanel were higher than those of other experimented panels. In conclusion thermal and sound insulation performanceof inorganic sandwich panel has enough for using various supplies including light-weight wall system of apartment. |
