Abstract This paper presents the proper water supply system by a comparative study of gravity tank system and booster pump system which are mainly applied in apartment buildings. This study was conducted using Life Cycle Costing (LCC) analysis to make a comparative study of the two water supply systems. Total cost was calculated by using Present Worth Method (PWM) for Life Cycle Costing. The results show that booster pump system is more costeffective water supply system than gravity tank system in apartment buildings.
