Abstract |
The aim of this study is to illustrate the influence of demographic factors and drinking on the campus life adaptation of university students. The subjects of this study were 240 students who visited health care centers at university. Data were collected from March 1 to April 15 2007 by structured questionnaire. Analysis was used SPSS program. 32.0% of males and 20.9% of females were experienced problematic alcohol drinking. 40.0% of males and 22.6% of females were experienced alcohol dependence. The influencing factors of campus life adaptation were health condition, grade, and gender at first step (R2=17.7). And second step, income and drinking were added (R2=21.1). When drinking tendency was decreasing, campus life adaptation was increasing. So we must change to drinking culture at university. That should be effected to positive campus life adaptation. For change of alcohol drinking culture need to social support and effort of universities. |
