Abstract In this study, difference of thermal insulation performance and indoor surface temperature distribution are compared and analyzed after choosing representative opening type of windows and glazing system used most in domestic. The frame made of plastic material is chosen and the opening type is that of 2 track sliding windows. Glasses are changed When it comes to the thickness of Glass and Gas Layer, type of Gas and whether Low-E glass is applied The surface temperature of analysis target window is classified by glass, frame, and edge. Result of Thermal insulation performance's evaluation is as following 11.7% for expand spacer gap by 12 mm, 10.5% at Argon Gas filling, and 20.1% for indoor side glass at alteration by 3 dimension Low-E Glasses. Also, when each conditions is applied mixedly, the results were similar with sum of improved figures of each condition. Specifically, the surface temperature showed clear change aspect depending on Low-E Glass application, when compared to the other condition change.
