| Abstract |
Because the dependence on the imported fossil fuels is exceeding 90% in our country and the buildings use no less than about 30-35% of the amount of energy whole nation use, the energy saving from the building sector is necessary. To this actuality the government introduced total building annual energy standard this year which regulates the annual energy consumption quantity of buildings. Therefore, this paper presents the performance-based energy standard of the total annual energy use per square meter of floor area in prototypical office and apartment buildings. |
