Abstract The purpose of this research is to verify reliability and validity of predicting VO2max by using Multi Shuttle Run Test. We measured 156 adults in twenties (male:90, female:66), They all tested GXT test and for MST we repeatedly tested for two times at a week interval to approve reliability (90 males, 29 females). The result of reliability according to the MST repeated test, second test was high on average than first test, and we could found it's reliance by 95% confidence interval through a correlation coefficient and repeat measurement error r = 0.87-0.90 (p<.05), 3.3-4.7%. The outcome of validity was underestimated equation than VO2max measured direct in both men and women. We realized that either equation 1 and 2 was low validity from comparison of equation 1 and 2 confidence interval. Also, we found that in case of men, lower physical performance showed lower validity at overall verification and related evaluation. As a result, we recognised necessity of developing equation of Korean by considering age, physical characteristic, sex and other matter.
