Abstract Dynamic stiffness of resilient materials have a close relation with the floor impact sound reduction. In this study, to examine the correlation between the dynamic stiffness and the light-weight floor impact vibration reduction level by using the reduced-scale model structure, 14 resilent materials were measured. And to verify the availability of H type (Flat) reduced-scale model structure, the verification experiment was carried out at the standard test laboratory. Dynamic stiffness of resilent materials were measured before this study and these results were used in this study. The results showed that the availability of H type (Flat) reduced-scale model structure were verified and the correlation between the dynamic stiffness and the light-weight floor impact vibration reduction level was high.
