Title The effect of Sports for All on Health Related Fitness, Sexual Activities and Depression in Older Adults

Abstract The purpose of this study is to show basic data and to give advice on the physical activity of senior citizens by examining how regular exercise influences sexual activity, depression, and health related fitness. This study is based on 669 males and females over 60 years old in ‘K’ province, and was executed through a questionnaire (on both sexual activity and depression) and a SFT (Senior Fitness Test). The results (p<.05) of this study, which according to analysis, are statistics (Chi-Square Analysis, T-test) created by using the SPSS version 12.0 : First, the rate of depression appeared low in the exercise group, for women(p=.001) in the Sex Group and in the 65-74 years old age group (p=.026). Second, sexual activity appeared high in the exercise group (p=.002) and in the 65-74 years old range, in the case of males. Sexual problems appeared low in the exercise group (p=.006) for both men and women; for women (p=.046) in the 65-74 years old, sex grouping (p=.019) in the age group. Last, health related fitness showed a superiority in the Grip Strength, 30Sec Chair Stand (p=.000), Arm Curl (p=.000) and the Two Minute Step Test (p=.013) respectively in the case of males. In the case of women, the Back Scratch [Right] (p=.000) was excellent, [Left] (p=.000) as well as the Chair Sit & Reach [Right] (p=.042). So the exercise group was generally superior and there was a significant difference in the Arm Curl (p=.012) for males and 30Sec Chair Stand (p=.041) for females.
