Abstract By complying with the change of the building code in Seoul, the proposal for building arrangement of four main buildings was selected and the age of air was analyzed and presented. In the result of the natural ventilation efficiency for the main building among the four, the analysis for the ventilation efficiency was ordered like L-shape type as the best, single wing type, and Y-shape type as the least. As a consequence of the analysis of the age of air for the arrangement, Case2 was 0.81 min as the best, Case3 was 6.06 min. Case1 was 6.43 min, and Case4 was 10.69 min as the worst. The ventilation efficiency by the distance between buildings showed getting improved as the distance was increased, so there was no significant improvement of the ventilation efficiency for Case1 in>1.0H, Case2 in>0.9H, Case3 in>1.0H, and Case4 in>0.9H.
