Abstract The purposes of this study was the variables between golf and running shoes concerning E.M.G. which will be kinetics analyzed by comparing the activity indexes of the lower limbs muscles in the different two options for footwears. The study was conducted on 5 students of D university in B metropolitan city, who wear a normal size of shoes (270 mm). For the experiment tools, the TeleMyo 2400TG2, the E.M.G device of Noraxon inc. was used and surface electrodes (single & dual electrodes, Noraxon USA) were attached on the Rectus femoris, Gastrocnemius medial and Tibialis anterior of each subject. We processed the data using the Windows SPSS ver. 12.0 to get F verification by applying the Repeated Measures ANOVA, with the setting, α=0.05. Our analysis relationshipbetween the activity of muscle and golf &running shoes showed that when wearing these shoes, activity of rectus femoris mucles is lower than the other muscles in general. In other words, higher activity of muscles when wearing golf shoes means more tiredness, which is closely related to the sports performance. This study showed the muscle activity index in the Golf Shoes was higher than the Running, in 3 sections of muscle.
