Title A Study on the Survey of Indoor Air Quality in Library after Remodeling

Abstract Recently interest in indoor air quality grows, for this study has become a very important task in worldwide. Therefore, in this study surveys and indoor air environment was measured to target the library to improve indoor air quality and to create a more pleasant environment. Survey Results that users feel that they were offensive about the library of the indoor air quality and they thought that the lack of ventilation and some of them are experiencing symptoms of sick house syndrome remained. Measurement results that carbon dioxide is measured each 1286 ppm, 1148 ppm at Reading Room and Media Room that figures are beyond the benchmark appeared to 1000 ppm. Total Volatile Organic Compounds is measured 485.03 μg/m3 at Reading Room which figure is the largest one of other points of measurement. Therefore, we must work to improve indoor air quality of the library to reduce emissions of pollutants, to remove the individual pollutants, to improve ventilation and to use air freshener system and so on.
