Title A Study on Healthy Lifestyle of Elementary School Students Using School Health Survey

Abstract The purpose of this study was to identify the health status of students through the school health survey. Subjects included four (2,3,5,6) grade students of a elementary school in Incheon. A subjects of 557 was analyzed by SPSS program. Overweight (9.7%) and obesity (7.4%) was 17.1%. Underweight was 5.7%. ‘Physical activity’ of boys was higher than that of girls. ‘School and home life’ and ‘mental health’ of girls better than those of boys, it were good. The influencing factors of body fatness were grade (β = 0.361, p = 0.000) and hygiene (β = ?0.093, p = 0.033). School health survey can use the indicators for guess the health status of students.
