Abstract |
Thermal comfort analyses in an enclosure with a radiant heating and cooling system are investigated by experiment, thermal sensation vote analysis and mean radiant temperature simulation. Asymmetric radiation between radiant heating ceiling and air heating system in 9 points of room is compared with each other. As a results, the radiant heating and cooling ceiling system is more comfortable than the air heating and cooling system, due to the higher or lower mean radiant temperature respectively. The thermal sensation vote analysis shows that people under radiant heating ceiling system feels warmer than ones under air heating system. There is no remarkable asymmetric radiation for both systems , so that the asymmetric radiation is maximum below 10 %. |
