Abstract The purpose of the study is to examine the relationships among career maturity, job-seeking stress and depression of university students. The research design was a descriptive survey study, and 317 university students were selected through convenience sampling at two Universities. The higher criteria of career maturity was independency. And the higher criteria of job-seeking stress was school-involved stress. The depression level of university students was mild depression. Result from correlational analysis indicated that career maturity was significantly and negative correlation with job-seeking stress and depression. Career maturity varied depending on the grade and department of college. The results of this study were useful to develop job-seeking and career maturity programs for university students. We suggest more various research on career maturity, job-seeking stress and depression of university students in various situation.
