Abstract |
As consumers’ desire to be differentiated is more greater, an interest in fashion is increasing. An apparel industry is also getting bigger. For those reasons, the purpose of this study is to find out the present condition of indoor air quality in clothing store. Six clothing stores were selected by types of space forms and displays. Carbon dioxide and Formaldehyde were sampled and analyzed to determine the mean. The data was then compared and analyzed correlation for each of those parameters. The results represented that the formaldehyde was highly measured at the clothing store which had closed space and closed display. The formaldehyde was higher at the clothing store that had high turnover of merchandise. Better ventilation makes lower concentration of carbon dioxide and formaldehyde. |
