Abstract This study was conducted to develop a questionnaire for measuring the safety and health activities of clinical nurses. The survey was performed on clinical nurses who were working in general hospitals located in Seoul from Aug. 1 to Dec. 15, 2012. The collected data were analyzed by means of AMOS 19.0. The results show that the tool has acceptable levels of validity and model fitness. The verified tool was composed of total 16 items with five domains and was structured as a 5 Likert scale. The name of each domain and the number of its items are as follows: 1)work management: 4 items, 2)ergonomic work methods: 4 items, 3)nursing managerial policies: 4 items, 4)health promotion: 2 items, 5)work station design and welfare: 2 items. It is expected to be usefully applied to clinical nurses working in hospitals and measuring their practice levels.
