Abstract This study aims to analyze the main design variables that affect the reduction rate of energy and CO2 emissions in accordance with the Construction Standards on Low-Energy Green House and Performance. Through a detailed configuration analysis, reduction rates of 25% in energy usage and 20.8% in CO2 emission were documented and the factors that contributed the highest on the reduction rate were designated as the main design variables. In addition, main design variables’ approximate contribution rates were calculated and comparison among the contribution rates were made.For further research, analysis on the usage of renewable energy that is both economical and high contributors of energy reduction is proposed.
