Abstract |
In this study vascular inflammation indexes and immune factor characteristics in male Judo players are investigated for 13 male Judo players and 13 non-athletes. Their body compositions, vascular inflammation indexes, and immune factors are investigated and the weights are configured as covariances in order to implement an analysis of Covariance (ANCOVA). In the results, the Judo players represent higher muscle masses and lower body fat rates than the non-athletes. Also, the Judo players show lower neutral fats and CRP values, which indicate the vascular fat factor and vascular inflammation index respectively, than the non-athletes in which the neutrophil, which is an immune factor, is increased and the eosinophil, lymphocyte, and monocyte are decreased. It reveals that the Judo players exhibit improvements in body compositions and vascular factors and strengthening of immune functions compared to that of the non-athletes. |
