| Abstract |
This study aims to examine values & application plans on spaces surrounding protected trees as the community space. So, the small & medium cities where the traditional communities are breaking down due to rapid urbanization are selected. Among them, Miryang-si close to the country-style city is designated for the subject of this study. Through the reviewing stages, this study is applicable to the first stage, being focused on suggesting a comprehensive alternative for the application plan of the community space in accordance with types & characteristics of spaces for protected trees ultimately. Thus, this study has firstly tried to clearly define the spatial characteristic for each protected tree in the subject zones with understanding of the facilities & the distribution surrounding each tree, and the characteristics by the location type, and will be applied as the basic data in making a suggestion of the overall utilizing way as a public space in the community in the future. |
