Abstract This study was done to identify the association with cultural disposition and multicultural environmental sensitivity in nursing college students. Data were collected by questionnaires from 217 nursing college students in P city. The data was analyzed using SPSS 21.0. The results were as follow : The multicultural environmental sensitivity correlated positively with vertical group(r = .175, p = .010), horizontal group(r = .335, p < .001) and horizontal individual(r = .272, p < .001) in cultural disposition. The multicultural environmental sensitivity was statistically different to experience overseas trip (t = 2.89, p = .004), foreign friend (t = 4.66, p < .001) and foreign language ability (t = 4.20, p < .001). The factors influencing multicultural environmental sensitivity in participants were horizontal group disposition, foreign friend and foreign language ability (R2 = 21.5). After multicultural education, the multicultural environmental sensitivity of participants was increased significantly (paired t = -2.68, p = .008). In conclusion, it is necessary to improve global multicultural capacity of nursing college students through multicultural education and experience focused on personalized cultural disposition.
