Abstract In recent years, sports facilities which have long span are a growing number of cases that are constructed with multi-story in Korea. The noise and vibration problems in these sports complex may occur to human activities. In this study, it was conducted by measurements for identifying noise and vibration level of sports complex. It is found that the structure noise is caused by the lack of structural stiffness. Therefore, structural simulations are applied for reducing the noise and vibration. Finally, the void slab is recommended since it has the largest of the stiffness and mass ratio and will meet the noise and vibration criteria.
