Abstract |
Increasingly strict energy policies, rising energy prices, and a desire for a positive corporate image currently serve as incentives for multi-national corporations to reduce their factories’ energy consumption. In this paper, the performance of energy conservation strategies focusing on infiltration reduction is evaluated. For the study, energy saving strategies related with infiltration performance has been derived and then the energy saving factors that can be applied to the base buildings are evaluated using air network model in EnergyPlus simulation program. According to evaluation results, 15% of total energy in base building can be saved compared with a base building. |
