Abstract aThe purpose of this study was to identify the association between physical activity and 25Hydroxyvitamin D(25(OH)D) in Korean adults. Method: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 33,605 adults who participated in the Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey between 2009~2013. Physical activity level of participants was assessed using International Physical Activity Questionnaire(IPAQ) and 25(OH)D level was measured for vitamin D status. Results: The average vitamin D status of Korean adults was deficient(18.15ng/mL). Participants with higher level of physical activity had higher 25(OH)D level compared to participants with lower level of physical activity. Multiple linear regression analysis presented a significant association between physical activity and 25(OH)D after adjusting for age, gender, occupation and region. Conclusion: The current study demonstrated that the level of vitamin D was associated with level of physical activity among Korean adults.
