Title Factors Influencing College Life Adaptation in nursing Students

Abstract The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing college life adaptation of nursing students. Data were collected with a structured questionaries from 251 nursing students. The data were analyzed with SPSS/ WIN 21.0. A correlation of interpersonal relation, ego resiliency, self- leadership and degree of adaptation to college life showed positive correlation. There was a significant difference in college life adaptation according to interpersonal relation, self leadership, residential types, major satisfaction. The total explanatory power was 49.6% and the explanatory power of the degree of interpersonal relation (β=.570) was found to be the greatest than that of other factors. In order to help nursing college students to adapt to college life well, it will be necessary to provide the intervention to increase the degree of interpersonal relati on and to provide the intervention depending on self leadership, residential types, major satisfaction.
