Abstract |
There is greater and greater interest in piezoelectric energy harvesting system in accordance with needs for renewable energy. The piezoelectric energy harvesting system installed on the floor of a building has different electric accumulations according to passage density on the piezoelectric module. In this study, electric generation and accumulation of piezoelectric system was analyzed through an experiment that is conducted at library building. As a result an electricity accumulation showed a tendency to increase in proportion to the number of the people passing on the piezoelectric device. The most high accumulation amount is recorded at the largest number of passenger, but the efficiency that means electric accumulation per person was not the highest. There is difference of 1.4 times between efficiencies in accordance with the passage density. |
