Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to analyze the influx of fine particles in a hypermarket in which air flows in from an indoor parking lot through three types of passages. The study also reviews the reduction ratio of each of the three types of passages. Generally, the hypermarket comprises three types of passages: the first comprises a single door without a buffer zone, the second comprises a passage with a double-door that has a buffer zone between the doors, and the third comprises a passage with an elevator used by customers to enter the hypermarket. The results of this study show that the passages with the buffer zone and with the elevator hall present a greater reduction ratio of the influx of fine particles from the indoor parking lot entering the hypermarket than passages without any buffer zone. |
