Abstract Approximately 30 percent of the energy in imported energy is consumed by building. Recently, to solve this problem, the government has implemented policies to curb global warming by reducing the consumption of fossil fuels and greenhouse gases. The purpose of this study is to design improvement method of Geothermal Heat Pump system for improving energy efficiency. The building load is calculated by RTS-SAREK program to measure heating and cooling loads. The building load is use to proposed design improvement method of Geothermal Heat Pump. This method consider the economical and energy consumption of existing systems and proposals systems. As a result, this study suggest improvement system that the cost of improvement system decrease 3,400,000won and aunnal operating power 24 percent compared to the previous system.
