Abstract A criteria of golf course location is regarded as significant alternative associated with landscape of forest as well as reckless development. There are two purpose of the paper. First, this study introduces the major factors for a golf course site criteria. Secondly, it estimates the significance of the factors and relative imporance between factors. A comparision of their relative importance was made using the Analytic Hierarchy Process(AHP). As a resurts of this study, Charcterist of ecolgical environment was the most important factor in firstly hierarchy, the forest sector, the urban sector were in order. In ecolgical environment sector, Water Conservation Zone, Eco-nature Map, Surrounding Zone, Post Processing Standard, Green Nature Map Charcterist of slope was in order. In the forest sector, Proto-type Conservation, Mountain Ridge, Forest-type Map for Conserved Mountain Ratio, Forest-type Map, Forest Tree Accumulation were in order. In the urban sector, Slope, Land Aptitude Evaluation, Elevation, Green Area Site Ratio, Sports Facility Site Ratio were in order.
