Abstract This study aims to investigate the concepts of shared housing according to the changing environmental awareness of the aged society, and to analyze homesharing cases physical space and activities during the interview. The scope of the study is as follows. Interviews between elderly people and young adults in the case of intergenerational home sharing have been conducted from February 28, 2016 to May 27, 2016, for about three months, from one hour to two hours in each case. It was observed the space, to understand the situation of the home share, to take pictures each space, and to talk about home life in accordance with the interview questions prepared for each elderly person and the youth. The participants were conducted for 10 elderly people and 11 young adults by total 9 cases. The results are as follows. First, the homesharing space was mostly apartment type, and individual space and public space were classified according to the location of the room from the entrance. Second, in the weekly shared activities, we could see the result of checking the weekly morning and afternoon according to the date and time. Third, the relationship between the movement of physical space and activity had no corelation. Homesharing is expected in the social aspect, the results of this study can be used to solve social and welfare problems such as solitude, isolation and economy with support for the aging society such as active aging and aging in place.
