Abstract The shape of the gas separation membrane built into the cartridge of the dehumidifying device was selected as the hollow type and applied to the dehumidification system by the internal and external pressure difference. However, since the hollow fiber type membrane system is installed in a closed form inside the cartridge, excessive pressure loss of the passing air is generated, which may increase the blowing power. Therefore, in this study, the pressure loss of the air passing through the dehumidification cartridge by the installation of the hollow fiber membrane was predicted as the basic research data for the design of the dehumidification system. As a result of the analysis, it was found that the pressure difference at the front and rear end was 4.808Pa when the pressure difference at the upstream and downstream stages was 0.828Pa and 2500CMH, respectively, when the air flow rate was 500CMH, and the overall pressure loss difference was about 5.8 times. It is considered that the pressure loss due to the increase in air volume should be carefully considered.
