Title The Relationships among Mental Wellness and Perception of Healthy Campus in College Students

Abstract The purpose of this study is to identify factors influencing mental wellness (MW) of college students. Survey was performed from October 21 to October 30, 2019 with structured questionnaire and the participants were 200 college students living in J-city and G-do. Factor analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise regression using SPSS 22.0 were performed to analyze the obtained data. As the result, The level of MW was 2.7 points and healthy campus (HC) is 3.21points out of 5.0. MW positively correlates with HC (r=.27, p<.001) and other subdomains (r=.18∼.31, p<.05), except for outdoor environment. Subjective health status, subjective sleep quality, satisfaction with department, satisfaction with college life and indoor environment explains 30% of the MW. We need to enhance the subjective health status, subjective sleep quality and enhancing satisfaction for the department and college life in order to improve MW of college students. Futhermore, administrator should furnish adequate managements of indoor environment in college.
