Abstract |
The rate of crime is increasing in a poor and fragile residential environment. Since 2004, the “Design Guidelines for Crime Prevention” released by the National Police Agency, various guidelines on CPTED have been published. In 2014, the Building Act was enacted for the purpose of establishing crime prevention standards to prevent crime and create a safe living environment. At this point, this study investigates the current status of crime prevention projects implemented as a standard notification and local government guidelines, by analyzing various case studies, it is intended to create a safe village for the residents and to find sustainable ways of environmental prevention. Selected areas where the crime prevention project was carried out in 2015 and safety villages were established in 2016. In order to discover the indicators applied to the manual, we extracted the architectural city planning elements that considered the connection of the preceding research and crime prevention environmental design practice strategy elements. the status of the facilities was analyzed. As a result of the revised CPTED guidelines, it is expected that the improvement of the physical environment, the participation of the residents and the activities of the residents will be used to develop the sustainable safety village. |
