Abstract The purpose of this study was to analyze job of a elementary school nurse in managing health of student being at risk of anaphylaxis. To analyze job of a school nurse, DACUM job analysis method was used. The participants were 7 experts who were 4 school nurses, 1 emergency room nurse, 1 university professor in nursing faculty, and 1 nurse expertize in DACUM analysis. They participated as DACUM committee members and identified tasks associated with each duty and required knowledge, attitude, skill of school nurse in managing health of student being at risk of anaphylaxis. The job of a elementary school nurse in managing health of anaphylaxis were defined as ; Implement environment and health management of elementary student being at risk of anaphylaxis to enable them to attend school regularly and to fully participate in educational program. 14 duties and 96 tasks were identified for the job of a elementary school nurse in managing health of student being at risk of anaphylaxis. Knowledge and skills were identified with 27 items and attitudes were identified with 15 items. It is necessary to develop Korean version of Anaphylaxis guidelines for elementary school nurses to provide detailed roles in managing students being at risk of anaphylaxis.
