Abstract |
Owing to redevelopment projects, the infringement of the right to light of existing buildings around a construction project occurs frequently, and problems, such as disputes with the residents of existing buildings regarding the right to light, are increasing. Analysis and evaluation of the infringement of the right to light were conducted by applying the school sunshine right evaluation criteria. The infringement of the right to light was prevented by reflecting the adjustment of the height and number of floors of new buildings and the method of orientation of building in the project site in the design of the building. The damage to a building’s solar system should be designed using tools, such as solar thermal simulation. In this study, the number and height of newly constructed apartments were adjusted through the analysis of the impact of the right of sunlight to be applied to the design from dissatisfaction with the right of sunlight to satisfaction. |
