Abstract In this study analyzed heating energy performance for 8 old houses. The airtightness performance of the buildings was measured and reflected in the heating energy performance, and most of the buildings showed low airtightness performance of 10 times or more. The airtightness of buildings is measured at 50 Pa. In addition, the remodeling priority was determined by analyzing the performance improvement according to the various remodeling plans such as strengthening the insulation performance of the roof and exterior walls, and improving the system windows and airtightness performance. As a result, it was confirmed that the heating energy demand according to the remodeling improvement plan was improved from 44.6% to 78.2%. The actual remodeling was partially carried out according to the owner's opinion, and it was confirmed that the heating energy demand was actually improved from 12.1% to 40.8%.
