Abstract |
The integrity of the joints in precast members can be greatly enhanced by applying a post-tensioning method. In this study, full-scaled post-tensioned precast beam-column joint specimens were fabricated and tested under reversed cyclic loading with the variables of presence of slab, application of multi or mono strands, presence of grouting, and post-tensioned lengths. The maximum strengths of all the specimens properly satisfied the design strengths presented in the design code (KCI 2012). In addition, seismic performance was evaluated based on the acceptance criteria presented in the ACI 374.1-05 and it was confirmed that most of the specimens satisfied the acceptance criteria.
