Abstract |
This study was conducted to evaluate the physical properties and durabilities such as chloride ion penetration resistance, crack which were caused by plastic shrinkage, and abrasion resistance of wet-mix shotcrete for skate park mixed with natural fiber and mineral admixtures. The workability of shotcrete such as pumpability and shotability were stable due to the air content and slump which were measured as 6.0±1.5 % and 130±20 mm, respectively. The compressive strength and flexural strength at 28-days of all specimens were measured above 35.0 MPa & 4.5 MPa as high performance shotcrete. And then, in aspect of strength, mineral admixtures more influenced the strength than natural fiber. The chloride ion penetration resistance were decreased because coulombs were increased when natural fiber mixed with shotcrete. Therefore mineral admixtures were necessary to improve chloride ion penetration resistance from ‘High’ level to ‘Low’ level. The crack width were occurred when plastic shrinkage were decreased until about 80 % level as natural fiber was mixed. The influence of the mineral admixtures was not the proper thing to justify the performance of shotcrete. Finally, abrasion resistance of all specimens were very good because the abrasion depth of them measured below 2.0 mm. As natural fiber mixed, abrasion depth were decreased until about 63 % level. And mineral admixtures mixed, abrasion depth were decreased until average 53 % level in the testing time.
