| Abstract |
The cubic-replotting method provides both joint ownership of the land and divided ownership of building to land owners, instead of giving only substitute lots. It is well known this method can lower land reduction rate and it is expected to solve the problems of petty landowner who cannot join the project in which the land is too small to join. Even though it is an effective method for downsizing of emigrants, it has never been in Korea due to lack of system and experience. So this paper focuses on the cubic-replotting method of Japan for figuring out its effectiveness and implications in order to put apply this practical use into Korea as well. The result showed that it is a valid method for not only land reduction rate but also developing core area but it requires more institutional improvement such as process, maintenance and subsidy. |
